Beth Israel Congregation

This pocket brochure was designed for Beth Israel Congregation to invite its members to participate in the writing of a new torah to commemorate the synagogue's 50th anniversary. In Judaism, it is considered a mitzvah (good deed) to write a Torah scroll or to be involved in its creation. Each member will have the opportunity to hold the quill and put ink to parchment. The new Torah will be used for years to come. That's why this project is called V'Zot HaTorah: A Mitzvah for Generations. The brochure looks as if it were printed on old parchment, but in reality, it's a fine uncoated stock.
